Any non-standard lift is automatically defined
as a SPECIAL, just as a made to measure suit is
always unique.
Available space, technical and aesthetic requirements
represent essential input to the design of this
sort of lift. The cabin and the doors can be made
from various types of material. Lift finish is sometimes
chosen to match that of the building and sometimes
to be completely different and to create striking
contrasts.
The combination of different materials like glass-steel
or wood-steel add to the flexibility with which
cabin and doors can be customised.
